Enrichment

Learning is central to all that we do at Patchway Community School and this is not limited to the classroom.  Students are able to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities that give them the chance to develop skills and interests as well as work alongside other students.

Clubs and Activities 

Students do not need to sign up in advance, simply turn up to get registered. Please contact the teachers listed should you have individual questions about any of the clubs and activities.

Enrichment Week in Term 6 

This yearly event will feature a diverse range of activities tailored to suit all students, whether they prefer high-adventure challenges or quieter, creative pursuits.

Highlights include: • A trip to a Theme Park • Visits to Museums • Outdoor Adventure Activities • Scenic Walks and Guided Tours • Baking and Creative Workshops

Prices will range from free to a maximum of £50 per activity. Each student will have the opportunity to participate in up to three trips during the week. Keep an eye out for the announcement of this year’s activities, which will be shared towards the end of Term 1.

Residentials - 

Our plan for Enrichment Week 2026 (and then offered each year thereafter) is as follows:

Year 7 Bushcraft Adventure

Year 8 and 9 – Water Sports Adventure trip to Europe (France, Italy, Spain or Germany) 

Year 9 and 10 – Cultural European Trip to Paris, Barcelona or Rome.
