“The principal enjoys the support of an experienced CEO who brings with him a wealth of school improvement knowledge.”

“The maths department is emerging as an area of relative strength.”

“English is led by an experienced Head of Department who is established in post and knows the school well.”

“On the evidence of the lessons visited and general student movement between lessons, behaviour was fine with respectful relationships clearly evident.”

What do our Yr7 and 8 families say?

“xxx has settled well in school and enjoys being here. She has come on leaps and bounds.”

"My son is in year 8@ Patchway and he is thriving but above all else he is absolutely loving school. His progression from primary until now is immense and I couldn't ask for a better place for him to be. People really should view a school and spend time talking to the head and staff before putting it down."

“I am very happy with all my child's progress. The school are very supportive with any of my concerns.”

“Patchway wasn’t our first or second choice, but we’ve been impressed with the teachers. xxx is thriving, loving school and exceeding academic expectations.”

“I'm really pleased with how well xxx has progressed in Yr7. He has had support when he needed it and I have noticed a massive improvement with his reading and maths. Any concerns or questions are answered quickly by his teachers and xxx really enjoys coming to school every day.”

“Lovely staff, awesome Headteacher. My daughter has improved so much since starting at Patchway and that’s down to everyone having the time to help her.”

Historically our overall outcomes have not been as good as other local schools, however with the support of The Olympus Academy Trust and new Headteacher Karen Cornick we are confident that the learning experience for students is transformed and will be evidenced in the outcomes that these students achieve.

Key Stage 5 (Post 16)

2017 students  achieved record results and our sixth form provision is a good match to that of other local centres!

51% of all grades were A*-B or equivalent.

80% were A*-C.

The pass rate was 99%.
