Airbus STEM Challenge Days

On Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd October we were lucky enough to host a group of Airbus Interns and apprentices who delivered a STEM challenge day to a total of 72 year 9 students. During the morning students could earn Airbus Airbucks by taking part in a series of challenges. The activities concentrated on team building skills and included a sphero challenge, erecting a tent blindfolded, building of a spaghetti tower and a problem solving activity. In the afternoon students took part in an auction to buy the components that they needed to build a device that would transport the most eggs without cracking. The students had a great couple of days and demonstrated excellent teamwork!
